it's KRXMAS!


Growing up, I was often referred to as Krismas or Kris "Pringle". I've always believed in the spirit of giving, being generous and living in a constant state of gratitude. I strive to live my life every day in a way that encompasses that time of the year when everyone shows a little more love and extra care. It's my belief that we should always live our lives this way and to remind ourselves that it costs nothing to be kind to others.
I was born in Naples, Italy and spent my
early childhood on the beautiful island of Sicily. Being immersed in that culture and the exposure to the lifestyle has helped define my love of feeding the soul while satisfying the palate.

My epicurean journey started in 2013 while working in the print industry in Los Angeles. As a print model, we were given strict dietary guidelines to follow in order to maintain standards for physical health and shape. Although many of these suggestions were useful, I found that they lacked the same excitement and flavors used in unrestricted cooking. In other words, the diet sounded boring and bland. As someone who grew up loving all types of cuisines, I wasn’t willing to give up something that I loved so much. I started to experiment and research ways to incorporate a healthy diet without having to compromise on flavor and options. This eventually led to a discovery of healthy substitutions and alternatives in existing recipes that in most cases were better than the original. I have since adapted this way of cooking and clean eating and never looked back. I've developed a love of research and development of new ideas to incorporate into recipes using high quality ingredients and sourcing from the best.
